Pol Tarres – Finals – Men Elite 26″
Barcelona, 1993. Based in Palafrugell, Girona. I started riding trials at ten. I stopped competing in 2022. In between: twelve years on the UCI circuit, seven consecutive seasons inside the world top 10, and the Spanish national team from 2011. Junior Spanish Champion in 2011.
Somewhere in there I also finished a degree in Building Engineering at UPC and co-founded Escola Trial Òrrius, teaching kids to ride. In 2015 I bought a Sony a6000 because nobody was filming what we were actually doing. That turned out to matter more than any result. At that point my photo and video journey started and I fell in love with explaining my adventures through images.

Nowadays I ride bikes, all kinds of bikes, gravel, road, mtb, ebike, in all kinds of terrains, in different events. I feel superlucky because I enjoy any kind of adventure. From a bikepacking trip with friends across the Pyrenees, to racing a popular granfondo like Mallorca 312, a mtb stage race in La Rioja, or a mtb Eliminator World Cup.

Every bike is different and I have different emotions riding with them. In winter I love to swap the bike for the skis and discover new places while skiing, from Georgia, to Kosovo, to Japan to the French Alps.
